NYCC: Matt Bomer Is Negative Man In Doom Patrol

The annoucement came during the Titans panel.

Announced by Brendan Fraser during the Titans panel at New York Comic Con, Matt Bomer will portray Negative Man in DC’s upcoming Doom Patrol. Bomer will provide voiceover for scenes in the present and will appear as Larry Trainor in flashbacks. Matthew Zuk will provide the the physical performance of the character in costume.

Bomer’s other credits include Magic MikeAmerican Horror Story, and White Collar.

The other members of the Doom Patrol cast include Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Timothy Dalton as The Chief, and Joivan Wade as Cyborg. Alan Tudyk will play the villain Mr. Nobody. DC has ordered 13 episodes for Doom Patrol, which is expected to debut in 2019 on DC Universe.
