NATPE: Broadcasters across Latin America have acquired more than 100 hours of programming from Canada’s Kew Media Group (KMG).
DirectTV, SundanceTV and Globosat have all licensed feature film Painkillers, feature documentary Harry & Meghan: A Very Modern Romance and the fifth season of drama series Line of Duty.
DirecTV has also picked up feature docs Active Measures, chronicling Russian espionage during the 2016 US presidential election; Divide & Conquer: The Story of Roger Ailes; and Becoming Bond, about George Lazenby’s short-lived rise to fame playing James Bond.
AMC Networks-owned SundanceTV has licensed 24 titles covering a broad range of feature films and documentaries, including the award-winning drama feature 96 Minutes.
Globosat will also air documentaries The Beatles: Made on Merseyside (1×85’), Cosplay Universe (1×84’) and Hip-Hop Evolution (4×60’).
The deals were struck by KMG sales arm Kew Media Distribution.
