Last month, British actor Daniel Craig headed to the CIA headquarters to help perfect his role as secret service agent James Bond, before the next movie in the franchise is released in 2019.
After having played James Bond four times in Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2018), Daniel Craig has decided to play the iconic role of 007 one final time. Although filming began back in 2016, the British actor traveled last month to the Central Intelligence Agency headquarters in Langley, Virginia. The US intelligence agency invited the actor for their seminar “Reel vs Real”, which aimed to demystify Hollywood’s over the top and theatrical depictions of CIA agents; the mysterious organization requires that its spies stay incognito and far more undercover than suggested in blockbuster movies. Daniel Craig met with CIA leaders and employees, who taught him espionage basics and the qualities needed from a secret agent for a convincing on-screen performance. Bond 25 will be directed by Danny Boyle and written by John Hodge, and is set to be released in November 2019.
